Elliott Maxwell is the co-owner at Black Stone Tattoo and has become a well established artist over his four and a half professional years in the industry.
Committed to creating bold and vibrant Japanese and traditional tattoos, he also works to produce soft, smooth black and grey shades as well as solid back work.
He has worked internationally in Greece, Australia and America as well as various guest spots and conventions across the UK.
He believes a bold long lasting tattoo is key when creating a unique piece of art and strives to achieve this with every client.
Simon Dewar
Simon has a distinct style which has evolved from a solid creative design background with a passion for composition and form.
He specialises in precision dot work and clean line work with designs influenced from the natural environment, the macabre, Indian and Islamic patterns, traditional Japanese and sacred geometry.
He believes that size and positioning of the design on the body are key to producing tattoos that suit the client and every tattoo is thought about thoroughly from concept through to completion.
Tibor Varga
Tibor recently joined the team in March 2019.
He has a great talent specialising in traditional, neo traditional and japanese tattooing.
He is an authentic artist, coming from graffiti culture, his 20 years experience in painting has a strong influence on his tattoo style.
Tibor enjoys working with bold flowing lines and bright colours. He believes these tattoo qualities along with good design composition and placement are what makes a great tattoo.
Kendel Nicholson
Kendel is a full time artist here at Black Stone, having completed her apprenticeship with us.
Her style is predominantly illustrative dotwork designs inspired by animals, plant life, curiosities and popular culture.
